I’ve taken many trips to lots of parks over the years, though it’s largely been trips to national parks and some state parks that I have taken the time to document.

I still haven’t figured out how I’m going to organize these to make them useful.  Some of them are quite old, and come from the days before we all had digital cameras (the images are printed photographs that were scanned – gasp!) and lots of bandwidth to download large images.  Still, there may be some useful information included.  If you’re looking for information on a specific place, try the Search box on the right.

Mariposa Grove in Yosemite National Park –  June 2019

Rapid City SD  – including Mt Rushmore, Jewel Cave, Badlands, Wind Cave, Minuteman Missile NHS, Spearfish Canyon, Custer State Park, Devil’s Tower, Mammoth Site

Tales of the Two-Bit Traveler are reports from road trips I’ve taken around the country in search of some of the places depicted on U.S. quarter coins in the State Quarters and  “America the Beautiful” series.  These are still a work in progress.
